 As the sun is starting to shine and the grass is turning green, we are looking forward to getting outside and seeing our members playing and sharing laughs with their teammates again. But, we must remain patient as the great work and game plan from our government and health officials plays out in the weeks ahead. This plan is to protect the safety and health of all Islanders, which is more important than any sport at this time.

It is because of the efforts made by all Islanders to beat Covid-19 that we remain hopeful that there will be a soccer season for you to enjoy when we get through this together. Our club, in partnership with PEI Soccer, has initiated and continues discussion and planning for potential different start dates. That start date will only come through the official notice from the Chief Public Health Office (CPHO) and relevant government officials when they deem it safe to do so. This notice might also come with certain restrictions on how we as a club operate and provide programming.
 
So, in order for Eastern Eagles to properly prepare for all scenarios and potential start dates, the club will be opening online summer soccer registration on May 1.
When you register online, no payment will be required or accepted at that time. Once a start date for the season has been established, fees will be set accordingly and communicated.
We recognize that a few players have already registered and paid the fees. If the season does not go ahead, be assured that you will get a full refund. If the fee is reduced due to a shortened season, you will get the appropriate partial refund.
 
We continue to recognize and respect that COVID-19 is impacting everyone in different ways.
Therefore, we encourage all those that wish to play soccer to register. Our club in partnership with PEI Soccer will do the utmost to make sure no one gets left behind due to the impacts of Covid-19.

For those interested in coaching and referee courses; PEI Soccer hopes to release, in the next two weeks, information on these courses as they are being transitioned to an online format.
