March Break Soccer Camp

Hosted by Canada Games Women’s Soccer Team

A 3 day soccer camp will be held at the Stratford Indoor Soccer complex on March 18, 19 & 20 (storm dates will be the 21 & 22).  The camp instructors will be led by the Canada Games women’s coaching staff of Brian Allain, Lincoln Rix & Ashley McKenna and will feature involvement from many of the girls who are on the training squad for the 2013 Canada Games.

The camp will take in players from the Under 8 to Under 14 age groups and will provide a chance for the players to enhance the basic soccer skills such as dribbling, passing & shooting and will provide players the opportunity to get lots of touches on the soccer ball.  There will also be some time for some fun small sided games of soccer each day.

The schedule will be the same for all 3 days (March 18, March 19 & March 20):

10:00 to 11:30 am - Under 8 boys (born in 2005/2006), Under 10 boys (born in 2003/2004), Under 12 boys (born in 2001/2002) & Under 14 boys (born in 1999/2000)

11:30 to 1:00 pm - Under 8 girls (born in 2005/2006), Under 10 girls (born in 2003/2004), Under 12 girls (born in 2001/2002) & Under 14 girls (born in 1999/2000)

***  We have the full field each day available to us so we can arrange the groups to best match age & skill level for both the boys and the girls during their time on the field. 

The cost will be $20 for one session, $30 for 2 sessions or $40 for all 3 sessions.  This amount is payable to "PEI Canada Games Girls Soccer" if paying by cheque.

Players must pre-register by sending an email to Brian at allain@pei.sympatico.ca with the following information: player name, parent name, player birthdate, parent email & parent phone number (cell & home) as well as an indication as to whether you will be attending all 3 sessions or not.  A maximum of 25 players can be registered in each of the 4 age groups for both boys & girls while a minimum of 8 players would be needed in order for each particular age group.

Deadline to register is Wednesday, March 13th.
